Things to Do

South Congress Avenue

1220 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704

SoCo is a quintessential Austin spot and one of Jayme's go-to's! On South Congress, you'll find murals, boutiques, boot stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. Check out Two Hands for brunch; it's home to one of Jayme's favorite matcha lattes in the city!

Roy and Ann Butler Hike and Bike Trail

900 W Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78704, USA
The Roy and Ann Butler Hike Trail is a 10-mile loop all throughout Austin that surrounds Lady Bird Lake. You can bike the trail like Michael, walk the trail like Jayme, and even stop at Texas Rowing Center to paddleboard or take in the views.

East 6th/Eastside

1701 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702

If you're in the mood to bar hop, East 6th is the place for you! From casual food (Spicy Boys) to live music and two-stepping (White Horse) to breweries (Zilker and Lazarus), there's always something to do on East 6th day or night. East 6th is also home to some of our most fun memories in Austin!

Barton Springs Municipal Pool

2131 William Barton Dr, Austin, TX 78746, USA

Can't take the Austin heat? On a warm day, Barton is one of the most popular and lively places to go. Feel free to tan on the grass or go for a swim in the natural springs pool! Afterwards, take a stroll around Zilker Park right around the corner.

Micklethwait Barbecue

4602 Tanney St, Austin, TX 78721, USA

If you know Michael, you know Micklethwait's - arguably the best BBQ in Austin (without the wait of those more popular BBQ spots). Try their pulled lamb, jalepeño cheddar grits, and scratch-made mac and cheese. Hungry yet?

2nd Street District

211 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78701, USA

The 2nd Street District, in the heart of downtown, features some popular restaurants and stores to grab your Austin merch! If you walk 2nd Street down to Congress Avenue, you can see the Capitol building! Check out the South Congress Bridge to overlook the water and maybe see some bats around sunset.
